EELISA unfolds "Demo Day": the first event that brings together universities, startups and investors from all over Europe, took place on 19 December in Pisa
The first UE-wide Demo Day of university based startups held in Pisa last 19th December.
La Scuola Normale, Sant'Anna School and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid jointy organized the first Demo Day.
The event is part of the EELISA UNFOLDS project, which showcases higher education institutions as powershouses of Innovation and Enterpreneurship and gathers seven top deep-tech startups form the members of the European University EELISA.
Thsi is the first time that a European univesity has put ogether startups to display innovative technologies and attract the EU-wide seed and early stage funding.
Moreover, this eventi brighs together startup experts and investors representing several sectors and countries that will open up networkig n opportunities in European markets in Germany, Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, Romania and Turkey.
The event has been held in Sala Stemmi - Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa
